Dear Reader:
In September of 2008, our economic system changed in the blink of an eye. We went from everyday living, working and spending money to a whole new financial landscape, virtually overnight. Wall Street, the banking industry, the housing industry, and the automotive industry took major hits like we haven't seen since the 1980s and even the Great Depression of 1929. As a result of these issues, I found myself on a quest.
Many of my colleagues, friends and family found themselves in a new era of questioning the future, and how earning a living might change in the coming months and years ahead. A number of people began losing jobs. I was very concerned for everyone.
I immediately started creating a list of small businesses and freelance careers, which one could create with very little money to start. My list grew very quickly, and as it grew, I began to research each and every business idea, trade, opportunity, and career I found interesting as a start-up business or sideline for supplemental income. I then began sharing these ideas with others, and the consensus was, you should create a book or list with that stuff! So I did! One year later, this book was born.
50 Great Money-Making Ideas for Any Economy was one of the least expected bodies of work I ever thought I would create! After all, I was very busy working in my own business. I never thought I would find myself becoming a career counselor, but I have, and I absolutely love this line of work. It is a calling I feel in my heart, and now my hard work and research is available to you.
In addition to this first volume, more volumes will follow in the very near future, so stay tuned! My goal is to provide for you ongoing money-making ideas for EVERY economic landscape. While some of my business ideas are not necessarily "new," my detailed research and how to go about pursuing them is unique.
